boring updates.

first post in almost a year…honestly, i forgot i had a tumblr. 

still with Andrew, going on two years.

Carmen is now almost 3… she’s absurd and hilarious and adorable and perfect <3

still baking cupcakes, and occasionally other things.

I applied to culinary school for baking and pastry arts… we’ll see how that goes.

Is still broken. And I’m super super mad about it.

I really hate

Being asked so many god damn questions. You call it taking an interest in my life… I call it being a pain in the ass.

Cupcakes

Have consumed my life. I have 4 orders over the next couple weeks. Business cards are in and they’re adorable…I’m so happy.

My first time.

The first time I remember baking anything; I was about 6 at my nana’s house. I put an egg, some flour and some sugar in a bowl and put it in the microwave, since I wasn’t allowed to touch the oven.

It didn’t turn out so well.

and then there were none.

been missing my nana a lot lately. i can’t believe it’s been over two months since she passed away…it seems like i was just talking to her last week, calling her and seeing if she needed anything from shop rite, the usual. the last thing she said to me was to make sure i “take good care of that baby”… i’m trying my hardest. all i ever wanted was to make her proud, and i feel like i failed at that.

snow days

aren’t as fun when you’re not in school anymore.

went to work. drank some coffee, smoked a cig. read some magazines, painted my nails. more coffee, another cig. went home. about to make mac and cheese.

i wish i had a more enetertaining life.

went to my grandma’s house today to pick out some jewelry; found some cute ass earrings. also left with her cookbooks so i’m definitely doing some research tonight. i want to get this bakery going, asap.
